In recent years,with the changes in the economic environment,more and more companies need to study the idea of cost formation and cost control from a strategic perspective.The method of strategic cost management has also been adopted by more and more companies.Targeted strategic cost management is an enterprise from a strategic point of view.Using cost management methods to achieve cost reduction at the same time is not only to obtain short-term profitability,but also to maintain and enhance the company’s long-term competitiveness,that is,to use strategic cost management.Take preventive measuresIn today’s period of rapid economic development,traditional cost management faces quite severe challenges in the new economic environment.The key to an enterprise’s long-term competitive advantage for survival and development lies in the management of costs,so that the formation of competition in the enterprise is actually a competition in the cost of the enterprise.Therefore,strategic cost management remedies the shortcomings of traditional cost management and no longer simply reduces product costs.The goal is to focus on the establishment of competitive advantage in the enterprise cost management,emphasizing the creation of equal value conditions for customers while reducing costs as much as possible,thereby enhancing the company’s own competitive advantage.Strategic cost management is a combination of strategic management and cost management.The premise is to improve the cost management of the company’s competitive advantage in the market.It can not only provide the cost information of the public enterprise itself,but also provide analysis data of competitors.It is very helpful for the company managers to formulate and evaluate the company’s strategy so as to create the most suitable competitive advantage for the company so that the company can effectively adapt to the external environment’s continuous change.The significance of strategic cost management lies in carrying forward the advantages of traditional cost management,combined with strategic management to break the traditional management model,find a suitable path for the development of enterprises,and promote better,faster and more efficient development of enterprises.This article chose strategic cost management to conduct research because of this reason.However,after consulting the literature,we found that the research on “strategic cost management” in China is actually not a lot.The literature on strategic cost management that can be found in HowNet can be found in the literature.The number of dozens of documents each year is also the number of articles,and most of the literature is a theoretical elaboration of strategic cost management.There is a lack of data support.One of the important reasons for this is that the cost-related data within the company is difficult to obtain.This is the research process.There is a major obstacle in this.Then,this paper will break through these obstacles,based on the internal cost data obtained,through the analysis of the company’s cost drivers,value chain,and strategic positioning,pointing out what are the advantages of strategic cost management over traditional cost management and how companies implement strategic cost management.The necessity.
