For the development and construction of the domestic modern economy,the domestic commercial banks,based on the development of the professional banks,strengthen the performance management as the internal requirements of the international integration.The commercial banks in our country are at the key stage of the market reform.They accept the "shelter" of the government to a certain degree,and also experience the impact from the outside.Especially after the entry of WTO,our country gradually liberalized the policies of foreign banks and joint-stock banks.This recessive impact is becoming more and more apparent.Domestic commercial banks must complete the transformation of performance management in order to keep pace with world-class banks.In terms of industry self-regulation and external regulation,strengthening performance management is the only way to achieve multi-level regulatory requirements.As a high risk industry,commercial banks face strict supervision,including the administrative supervision of the people's Bank,the Banking Regulatory Commission,the internal audit of the bank and so on.Moreover,as the external situation changes,banks also need to push ahead with adjustment and transformation in time.All these need to be supported by the corresponding follow up of performance management.For business development,performance management is a magic weapon for domestic commercial banks to optimize the allocation of resources and enhance their core competitiveness.No matter how the business philosophy and management practices of commercial banks change,the final foothold is planning and implementation.The realization of the overall strategy and long-term goals must be decomposed through the task plan.However,from the current research situation,the theoretical research on western performance management theory and performance management,such as the key performance index method and the balanced scorecard,has been deeply studied by our theorists,but how these methods can be effectively combined with the practice of different forms of commercial banks' operation.Development is not yet mature,and is still in the stage of exploring and studying further with the characteristics of the industry.Based on this,this paper,based on the KPI performance assessment theory,analyzes the main factors that affect the imperfect performance appraisal system of commercial banks in Shenzhen branch of a commercial bank,and finds out the internal reasons for the incomplete implementation of the performance assessment,and seeks solutions.Through the study of the performance appraisal of the case bank,it can provide a more comprehensive information for the case bank and provide reference for the future development strategy of the bank.Through the optimization of performance assessment,the manager can maximize the profit of the case bank with the short-term goal of the development of the bank and the long-term target camera on the premise of security and liquidity.
