A Study On The Development Of Agricultural Insurance In Jiuquan

Agriculture is the largest industry in our country and it also the pillar industry in China.The sustainable development of agricultural production is a major issue related to national livelihood and national development.However,the sustainable development of agricultural production requires agricultural insurance to protect farmers' income risk.Agricultural insurance is the whole society has been concerned about the problem,and nowadays,agricultural insurance through the strong support and advocacy of government departments have a turning point for the new type of insurance,The development of modern agriculture has brought new opportunities.Effective agricultural risk management is related to the income of farmers,the rational use of agricultural insurance is a strong guarantee for farmers' agricultural production investment.However,agricultural insurance is a very important risk management tool in agricultural development.It is of great significance to promote the development of agricultural production and increase farmers' income.This paper is based on Jiuquan City to analyze the development of Agricultural Insurance in detail,which is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,and try to summarize the background and significance of this paper,and the study situation at home and abroad in brief.The second part is the basic of this paper and will give the concept,the function and the characters of agricultural Insurance.In the third part,will mainly analyze the current situation of the development of agricultural insurance in Jiuquan from three aspects: the survey of the farmers' income in Jiuquan,the status of agricultural insurance and the effectiveness of the operation of agricultural insurance in Jiuquan.The fourth part analyzes the problems in the development of agricultural insurance in Jiuquan,and will mainly research from the demand and the supply of the agricultural insurance and the contradiction between them deeply.The fifth part will give suggestions about promoting Jiuquan based on the above problems from the government' view,the insurance companies' view and farmers' view.And in the last part,the author will integrate the full text and give a summary.
