Under the increasing competitive market conditions, the increasing complexity of products、customization of customers、and the huge cost of production system construction imposed higher requirements on the planning and design of the production system and the workshop scheduling. This thesis studies the line configuration and parallel machine batch scheduling.First, the research status of line configuration and parallel machines batch scheduling is summarized.Secondly, finished studying on simulation of flexible line. The decision-making evaluation method is used to evaluate the multiple line configurations of flexible line, combineing with simulation and advanced production management concepts. Then,a genetic algorithm for the flexible job shop batch scheduling problem based on studying flexible batch method was designed, and used several standard examples to test feasibility and effectiveness of improved algorithm. Then, based on the workshop simulation and analysis of the flexible line balance, some capacity planning progroms are formulated for different application scenarios to provide data support for production scheduling. Finally, based on plant layout plan, productivity results, and algorithm of FJSP parallel machine batch scheduling,a research to solve parallel machines batch scheduling for how to select the appropriate production line and how to give estimated capacity data、arrange the machines to fit the progress quickly is carried out.Above all, this thesis provided a more scientifically method to configuring flexible line, and designed genetic algorithm to scientifically solve the batch scheduling problem of flexible job shop.
