Foreign direct investment and international trade are the two important economic variables, and with the development of globalization, the scale of international trade and investment are expanding, and people regard the actual benefits of the two relations as important. As a representative of the world's emerging economies, direct investment and trade development between China and Brazil also played an important role on the world economy pattern,so the relationship between investment and trade between the two countries also has guiding significance to the economic development.Trade between China and Brazil started earlier, and China is now Brazil's largest trading partner. But China's outbound direct investment started late and has a lot of potential in the Brazilian market.Based on the tHeories and empirical studies of international trade and direct investment relations of other researchers, this paper analyzes China's investment and trade status in Brazil. At the same time,China's trade and investment data from 2001 to 2014 were selected for empirical tests, which concluded that China's investment in Brazil and the trade between the two countries are complementary. Finally,it puts forward policy suggestions on the development of investment and trade between the two countries through inspection results and actual conditions.
