Research On Farmers' Actions And Strategies In The Process Of Urbanization

At present,the construction of urbanization is in full swinging which is affecting the social development in urban and rural areas and the daily actions of farmers.Urbanization is an important social situation in which farmers' actions are shaped.According to the trend of urbanization development and requirement,farmers are carrying out diversified urbanization activities.Based on actual urbanization development,the paper takes field investigation information and combs the farmers' urbanization and analyzes and induce its strategies and in order to understand deeply the urbanization of farmers.According to the survey data of four administrative villages in Anhui Province,this paper argues that the current urbanization activities of farmers mainly include migrant workers,land transfer,education in the city,and housing purchase in cities.Combining with interview data,this paper analyzes the survival strategy,security strategy and development strategy of peasants in the process of urbanization.Under the guidance of survival strategy,after the reform and opening up,the post-60s and post-70s farmers take survival as the first.To meet the needs of family members,they need to work in cities.Under the guidance of security strategy,farmers are concerned about economic security,family safety and environmental security,and in the process of urbanization,they seek for improvement in stability and family members go into cities orderly.Under the guidance of development strategy,post-80s and post-90s farmners actively get into the cities for education and houses so as to achieve upward mobility,living in the town "with dignity",and successfully turning into the urban residents.Since the reform and opening-up policy,Chinese farmers have experienced the market baptism who are no longer limited within the small peasant life in the village.They have been looking for a better survival and development life between urban and rural space.Some people have turned to become urban residents a desire for success.In this way,some farmers have strategically adjusted their urbanization actions according to the family survival and development needs,and have taken a roundabout way of urbanization.In this paper,the intention and action of urbanization should be fully respected,whether it is the post 60s and post 70s farmers,or the post 80s and post 90s peasants who pursue development.,of course,in order to develop urbanization well and fast and promote more farmers realize citizenization,the government needs to guide peasants into urbanization,actively open up into the road of urbanization for them,but also to retain their retreat.In turn,urbanization has reduced the risk of farmers' urbanization action.
