Human resource management plays essensial role in developing a company strategy,managing people,and the workplace culture and environtment.If effective,it can contribute to the overall company direction and accomplishment of its goals and objetives.Company needs employees who is go above and beyond which is formally required by the job description in order to remain comptitive.The employee which is do more than job description is doing extra role behavior or organization citizenship behavior(OCB),OCB contribute positiveley to overall organization effectiveness.Personality is the totally of an individuals behavior and emotional characteristics,so no doubt that personality can affect people behavior.Because in previous reseach the personality traits didn't have dirrect impact to organization citizenship behavior,so as Organ and Ryan(1995)suggesed that work attitude maybe explain the relationship between personality and OCB.This paper selects organization citizenship behavior as dependent variable,big five personality as independent variable,and affective commitment as mediating variable.I used two tape of OCB based on benefit to individual relationship(OCB-I)and benefit for organization or company(OCB-O).Through literature study method and questionnaire survey,this paper uses SPSS 22 as statistical analysis software to verify and this paper uses factor analysis,reliability analysis,validity analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis,and multiple regression.This paper use analysis to know the relationship of following variables,the influence of big five personality on OCB,the influence of big five personality on OCB through affective commitment,the relation among personality,affective commitment and OCB.The samples took from Indonesian workers,especially in Bandung,West Java and finally got 297 samples.This paper uses factor analysis,reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.Results confirmed several of the hypotheses,first,some dimensions big five personality have dirrect impact both for affective commitment and organiztion citizenhsip bahavior.Second affective commitment as variable moderation has partial moderation to OCB.From result of data processing hence can be concluded that from five personality only extraversion having direct influence OCBI and OCBO.Conscientiousness having direct influence OCBI.And opennes to experience have significant infulence with OCB-O and affective commitment.Affective commitment significantly influence with both OCB-I and OCB-O.Affective commitment mediation the influence between opennes to experience with OCB.Finally,the theoretical and practical significance of this study was discussed,and the way to improve employee organizational citizenship behavior is giving employee to initiative for contributing more to the company and make the employee have commitment to company.
