Research On The Connection Between The Silk Road Economic Belt And The Eurasian Economic Union: Opportunities, Challenges And Prospects

In September 2013,People’s Republic of China’s President Xi Jinping announced Belt and Road initiative,which has attracted big attention in China and internationally.Countries along the Belt and Road also hold a positive and welcome attitude.In May 2015,People’s Republic of China’s President Xi Jinping and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin jointly issued and signed the Joint Statement on Cooperation for the Construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Construction of the Eurasian Economic Union.In January 2015,the Eurasian countries,led by Russia,launched the Eurasian Economic Union.The Silk Road and the Eurasian Economic Union include similar regions.How to coordinate these two strategies and explore ways to link them has become a problem that needs to be faced between the various allies of China,Russia and Europe and Europe.It is of great significance for China and Russia to achieve the successful cooperation between the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union.The paper intends to use the literature analysis method,the system analysis method and the comparative analysis method to find that the economic effects of the two major strategies are the basis and the fundamental motive force of the docking.The evolutionary game theory model is established.This paper analyzes the definition and backgrounds of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union.It is obvious that both Silk Road and Eurasian Economic Union have a great variety of advantages,strong economic strength and a solid political foundation.But at the same time opportunities and challenges coexist.The social foundations that have been formed for a long time are the necessary conditions for cooperation.However,the interface between the two strategies will not be smooth sailing.From the analysis,it is found that there may be some difficulties and challenges in the cooperation process.For example,a series of political issues need to be resolved in a coordinated manner.These problems may exist and will persist for a long time to come,but only by finding common points of convergence of interests can we avoid them,seek long-term cooperation and lay a solid foundation for the synergy between the two strategic cooperation.This article describes the prospects of the two strategies,and points out the direction and path of future cooperation,especially in the areas of legal construction,institutional construction,and infrastructure construction,so as to lay a good foundation.The interface between the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union is mainly reflected in the docking of laws and regulations,institutional environment and organizational docking,and the docking of entities under political mutual trust.
