Equity investment is a basic function of modern enterprises,whether for the purpose of business development,asset management,or resource integration,mergers and acquisitions,enterprises will always carry out equity investment activities.As a financial institutions,but also enterprise,naturally S bank will carry out equity investment,especially private equity investment.Under the trend of interest rate marketization,financial dislocation and internet financial,it is more and more difficult for commercial banks to survive in the increasingly fierce market competition by relying on the traditional "eating benefit" model.The homogeneity of commercial banks is serious.Commercial banks are facing enormous challenges.In order to gain an advantage in a new competitive environment,S bank need to implement strategic transformation,find new profit growth points,and build new core competencies.This paper analyzes the policy background of the commercial investment in the commercial banks,as well as the consolidation of the concepts of commercial banks,investment banks and equity investment,and carries out the present situation of private equity investment business,private equity investment industry,banking industry and commercial banks,summed up the form of private equity investment business carried out by commercial banks.This paper analyzes the problems encountered in the development of the private equity investment business of commercial banks and analyzes the problems of S Bank,and finally suggests the strategy of developing private equity investment business,in risk culture,business system,talent system,coordination mechanism,organizational structure and other aspects.
