Research Of Tourist Satisfaction In Yogyakarta

Indonesia is a country that has many tourist attractions visited by domestic and foreign tourists.Tourism is one of the great strengths and income for Indonesia therefore the level of tourist satisfaction is very important for tourism development in Yogyakarta.One of the famous places beside Bali island is Yogyakarta.Yogyakarta is a cultural heritage tourist attractions type.The study was conducted to determine:1.whether the tourist satisfaction is influenced by the theme of cultural heritage sites,2.Is there a relationship between the tourist and the selection of characters factors heritage tourist destination,3.Is there a relationship between the tourist character and tourist satisfaction.The object of this research is the tourists who visit the city of Yogyakarta,both domestically and abroad.The method used to collect data that is used questionnaires and then processed through correlation analysis,multiple regression,and multivariate analysis using the statistical program SPSS.Based on the test results SPSS unknown factors such as historic buildings,traditional village/culture,museums,traditional scenery,arts(music,dance),handicrafts,theater,religious places,shopping,service quality,and the level of the expensiveness of the city of Yogyakarta successfully make tourists satisfied.These factors have a significant impact on tourism development in Yogyakarta,such as traditional village.Many tourists who come to visit this place not only appreciate their natural environment,but also to get the kinds of knowledge.In some arts and crafts also attracts many visitors,so in order to fulfill the tourists demand,local community offers a variety of courses.This course can be said to bring the benefits of both sides.Local governments also have great participation,and sometimes held a variety of activities or support religious activities for attracting tourists,so tourists will feel Yogyakarta impression very satisfied.Besides the tourist character also affect the cultural heritage tourist destination and the last,character of tourists also affect tourist satisfaction.Based on the results above,the various stakeholders such as governments,employers in the field of tourism and the community must work together and develop a strategy to develop tourism in Yogyakarta due to the role of each of them will affect tourist satisfaction.
