Due to the requirement of the target classification technology for small intelligent munition,in-depth research,which from the domain of signal processing,on techniques of the target detection and classification for the millimeter wave LFMCW radar is done in the thesis.The main works of this thesis are as follows:(1)Based on the analyses of the reflected signal and ambiguous function of MMW LFMCW radar modulated by symmetrical triangle wave,aiming at the deficiency of the velocity resolution under single-period modulation,the Doppler system under interval triangle wave modulation is used to extract velocity information and effectively reduce the amount of data needed.(2)The micro-Doppler model of the rotating blade,rotating wheel,and caterpillar band is analyzed.Accordingly,for the distinctions of the spectrum between different target,three features which are described the features of the spectrum is extracted.Based on the result of time-frequency analysis using the Short-Time Fourier Transform,the micro-motion parameters of the target are analyzed.(3)Scattering center model of the near-ground target in the optical region,the High-Resolution Range Profile of the target is obtained by using FFT.The pre-preprocessing of range-velocity coupling,amplitude and the attitude sensitivity of HRRP are studied.Features which is described the figure of HRRP is extracted by using the number and range of strong scattering points.Target classification based on the template matching is studied in HRRP by using Dynamic Time Warping.(4)A low-cost acquisition system of MMW LFMCW radar signal is designed and the debugging of the software and hardware are finished.The radar data of truck and car targets in field experiment are collected by the designed system.The function of the signal processing module has been verified by analyzing the data of the vehicle.
