With the development of science and technology,the functional requirements for projectiles in military confrontation are increasing,and the miniaturization and integration of missile systems have become an important development trend.As the conversion interface of modern military communication,detection and information countermeasure systems,the performance of the missile borne antenna directly determines the system performance.In order to save the internal space and launch weight of the projectile and ensure the structural strength,miniaturization techniques have become an important development direction of the missile borne antennas.In this paper,a series of theoretical researches and engineering implementations are carried out on the miniaturization of antennas in the missile application based on the needs of the subject.The main contents are as follows:In the first part,this article focuses on the research status of the missile borne antennas and the miniaturization techniques of antennas.In the second part,miniaturized active antennas with shared aperture in missile are designed.In order to meet the requirements of high integration and electromagnetic compatibility in design of antennas and radio frequency circuits for the navigation and communication system in misslie,a small-sized spiral slot-loading sleeve monopole antenna and a power amplifier circuit are designed as the digital transmitting active antenna,and a circularly polarized annular-ring microstrip antenna and a low noise amplifier circuit are designed as navigation receiving active antenna.The antennas and active amplifier circuits are physically processed and tested,and the transceiver system can work simultaneously without interference.In the third part,a miniaturized ground-end receiving active antenna is designed.Based on the basic principle of the microstrip antenna,a miniaturized low profile folded air microstrip antenna and a low noise amplifier circuit are designed as a ground-end digital transmission receiving active antenna.Theoretical calculation as well as test of the communication distance of the digital communication system is carried out,the measured communication distance is greater than 40 Km,which satisfies the design index.The fourth part,the miniaturized helical antenna is studyed.Firstly,combined with the basic principle of the normal mode helical antenna,a small-sized normal mode helical antenna is designed by loading the dielectric rod and introducing the grounding branch.Then,a dual-band normal mode helical antenna using multi-resonance branch technology is proposed.The simulated results show that the antenna has horizontal omnidirectional radiation characteristics in the B3 and L1 bands.
