The Generation And Application Of Emoticons For Hot Topics In The Network Public Space

An emoticon is an image that conveys facial expressions or body shapes when people communicate on the Internet platform or major social media.It is intended to facilitate the audience to convey certain emotions that are difficult to express in simple language and is an auxiliary Chat Tools.From the perspective of timing,it has gone through several development stages from the social software's built-in Emoji,cartoon images designed by animators,images made by netizens,or graphic packs.In recent years,in the popular culture of the Internet,simple textual expression has long been unable to meet the needs of young users for network communication,and it needs a more concise and direct carrier of emotional dissemination.The expression pack exists as a unique form of emotional expression,and the use of anthropomorphic character expressions is extremely meaningful in terms of content transmission and emotional expression.As a result,the network of emoticons has emerged endlessly,and is not limited to use in social software.On open social media platforms,people ' s discussions on topics have evolved from the original text form to today ' s commentary with pictures,discussion of texts,etc.In this discussion mode,everything can be made into multi-style expression packs by netizens.As a way to satisfy the expression of netizens' right to speak in open social platforms,in recent years,they have frequently intervened in the public through hot topic fermentation.In the spread of the incident,this phenomenon gave birth to a deeper meaning of the expression pack.Therefore,it is worth studying the phenomenon of the topic-related expression packs that are hotly debated on the Internet today,as well as the adverse effects and functions of the expression packs on the spread of hot topics on the Internet.This article conducts an explanatory study on the spread and application of emoticon packs on open public space social platforms(such as Weibo and Baidu Tieba),with reference to literature analysis,interdisciplinary analysis,and case studies,especially through self-made and dissemination by netizens Emoticons are involved in this behavior phenomenon in the discussion of public events,and the national trend of emoticons is summarized,so that emoticons can be reasonably applied to other fields.The article contains three aspects.First,it discusses the generation and spread of emoticons involved in hot topic discussions on open Internet social platforms.This article summarizes the emoticons in hot topics from three aspects: the nature and production methods of emoticons,the characteristics reflected in the communication,and the communication mechanism.Secondly,it analyzes the functions of emoticons involved in hot topic discussions on the Internet.Including the promotion of topics,marketing from the media and businesses,and the mainstream discourse dissemination in the form of subcultures,the analysis of how topical expression packs can be used reasonably and effectively through network communication,and play an advantageous role in network promotion.Thirdly,according to the above related discussions and the current status of the development of emoticons in hot topics on the Internet and other literature reviews,this article puts forward some corresponding reflections on the status of emoticons in hot topics and analyzes the possibility of emoticons entering mainstream culture.
