From Natural Selection To "machine Selection"

Nowadays,everyone is surrounded by new technology and machinery.Our bodies areshaped by invisible technology and media,whether it is in the aspect of body postureand behavioral habits,lifestyle and work style,we are increasingly inseparable from the unprecedented convenience,accessibility,and entertainment brought by machines,Internet,and media.At the same time,the technological machine originating from human invention is transforming human beings from the inside out.As we movetoward the "post-humanity",the original attributes of human beings evolved fromnature are being reversed by machines,and the materialized body is being degraded and dissipated by "machine evolution" to become more and more useless.Genetic algorithm based on Darwin's Evolutionism and encapsulate by artificial:technology logic is a method and strategy of artificial intelligence and machinelearning.It is mostly used as a tool to find the optimal solution in the fields of robotics and neural network research.However,the practical field of combining art and science:technology still has room for development.This thesis will discuss the origin andcharacteristics of the concept of "machine selection" to speculate its relationship with:genetic algorithms,technological development,and the evolution of the human bodyand living state.The possibilities of combining genetic algorithms with artistic practice and personal creation will be focused on the discussion.
