Biography of buyan cuylara_yuluyci sum_e-yin γoul situgen jou ma_ha_a_boddi-yin gegen duri-yi bayiyuluγsan yosun-i toyacaysan bicig tungγalaγ bolur toli kemegdeku(Hereinafter referred to as tungγalaγ bolur toli)is an important literature for the study on the customs of Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia in the early 19th century.The woodcuts of tungyalay bolur toli in Tibetan and Mongolian has been passed down utill now.This paper,based on detailed collation of the Tibetan and Mongolian versions of tungγalaγ bolur toli teases out and studies the relationship between the two texts and research about tungyalay bolur toli Author,finish the book and publication time,location etc,then make comments on the academic value of the text.This paper consists of four parts:introduction,the first text part,the second text part and conclusionIn the introduction,expalins the research purpose,research overview and research methods,then introduced Tibetan and Mongolian text respectively.In addition,have a brief introduction to cultural background of Mongolian religious and buyan cuγlara_γuluγci Temple when tungγalaγ bolur toli was created.The first text part-the study of the relationship between the Tibetan version and the Mongolian version is consists of three chapters.In the first chapter comprehensively uses historical research methods and philology research methods to the author of the tungγalaγ bolur toll and his work,origin of the two versions,the time and place of writing and publishing and the writing characteristics of the Mongolian version.In the first section,the life story and works of the author lcang lung pandi ta ngag dbang blo bzang bstan pa’i rgyal mtshan are described with the shortcomings of the previous researches replenished.In the second section,it is confirmed that the Mongolian version was translated from the Tibetan version based on the discussion of the translation sequence.However,the woodcuts of the Tibetan version acquired by the author was adapted from the original Tibetan version.Furthermore,the writing characteristics of the Mongolian version are described.In the second chapter,the translation characteristics of the text,including vocabulary and grammatical characteristics of the Mongolian version,are expounded.The vocabulary and lexical translation characteristics of the Mongolian text are analyzed based on the word-by-word comparison of the two versions;moreover,the features of translation of auxiliary words,function words and verbs of the Tibetan version and the Mongolian version are explored comprehensively from the perspective of linguistics.It is proposed that the Tibetan version is basically consistent with the original text,though it was adapted.The third chapter is dominated by the interpretation of the content of this work,with its value in the history of Mongolian culture explored.In the first section,the general situation of development and Inheritance characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia in the late Qing Dynasty are described based on the study on related documents recording the construction of the jou ma ha a boddi Statue at the buyan cuγlara_γuluγci Temple.In the second section,the work’s value in the history of Mongolian culture is expounded based on the discussion of the historical value,the value of recorded Sadhana Drubtab and the value of woodcuts.The second text part consists of three chapters.Firs,the Mongolian and Tibetan texts are translated in Latin.followed by the word annotation and the lexical index.The conclusion section reviews the full text and make summary.
