With the rapid development of remote sensing technology,the demand for multi-source image fusion is increasing.Among many image fusion types,optical image and Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)images have great research prospects and practical value,and have become one of the frontiers in the field of international image fusion.In order to make full use of the advantages of the two images,we should fuse the optical image with the SAR image to maximize the utilization and prepare for the subsequent processing of the image.The main contents of this study include three aspects:one is SAR image filtering,the other is optical image and SAR image fusion processing,and the last one is image quality evaluation method.SAR image filtering is the first problem we have to solve.We first understand the imaging principle of SAR images and its noise type---the multiplicative speckle noise.Based on the analysis and summary of the existing filtering methods,this paper proposes an improved anisotropic diffusion filtering algorithm to realize the filtering processing of SAR image speckle noise.The method has three advantages:Firstly,the method can effectively suppress speckle noise and can be used to solve the speckle noise contained in the SAR image.Secondly,the algorithm introduces an iterative termination condition,which can greatly improve the computational efficiency of the algorithm.Lastly,the algorithm can well preserve the edge information of the image without blurring the image and ensure the quality of the image.The fusion of optical image and SAR image is the second problem we have to solve,which is also the focus of this paper.We first learned the basics of image fusion----the definition,classification and common methods of images.After learning the above basic knowledge,this paper proposes a remote sensing image fusion algorithm based on (?) trous wavelet and HIS to realize the fusion processing of optical image and SAR image.The advantages of this calculation are reflected in the following two aspects:on the one hand,it can maintain the detail information and texture information of the SAR image;on the other hand,it can maintain the spectral information of the optical image.The image quality assessment method is the third issue we are involved with.We first learned some image quality evaluation methods(from subjective evaluation and objective evaluation).After learning the image quality evaluation method,the image after the filtering algorithm and the fusion algorithm are evaluated from subjective evaluation and objective evaluation respectively to verify the superiority of the algorithm used in this paper.The main content of this paper is to image the optical image and SAR image based on an improved anisotropic diffusion filtering algorithm and an image fusion algorithm based on (?) trous wavelet and HIS transform.The graph carries out subjective evaluation and objective evaluation.The research results show that the algorithm in this paper is indeed superior to other algorithms.
