Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for wireless networks and quality of service.WLAN becomes an indispensable part of life and the main carrier of wireless networks because of its advantages of high data rate, flexible deployment conditions, and low cost. The key breakthrough in the upcoming IEEE 802.11 ax standard is its inclusion of Uplink Multi-User transmission model. And it also uses other advanced technologies, such as Multiple-Input Multiple-Output and Beam-forming.MIMO technology breaks the limitation of frequency resources in wireless networks, and this is a breakthrough in the process of wireless communication technology.Since then, the efficiency of spectrum has been greatly improved.Visible light communications is a very promising technology in wireless communication. It is regarded as an effective complement to traditional wireless network communication.Visible light communication can perform basic lighting and data transmission simultaneously. This way has unique advantages that is different from the traditional radio frequency communication.Based on the IEEE 802.11 ax protocol and new technologies in the field of visible light communication, this paper studies the improvement of throughput in wireless networks. The main work includes two aspects:In order to improve the throughput of the MU-MIMO network based on 802.11 ax protocol, this paper designs an optimal scheduling for the uplink and downlink of the network.By using Enhanced Distributed Channel Access(EDCA)mechanism, this algorithm organizes contention among network access categories(AC),sequences by EDCA mechanism, and sorts the data in the queue according to their priority. This way realizes the optimal scheduling in high-density network environment, improves network throughput, avoids the occurrence of congestion. This paper tests the effect of user size and channel state information(CSI)on throughput by experiments. The results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance on the premise of guaranteeing high quality transmission. In order to improve the throughput of massive visible MIMO wireless networks, this paper proposes an algorithm which named tolerable set scheduling of visible light. In massive visible MIMO wireless networks, this paper introduces the concept of tolerable set, that is,multiple links can transmit data simultaneously within the interference tolerance.Choosing the link set for simultaneous transmission is a process of constructing a mutually tolerant link set.By comparing the sum rate of the mutually tolerable link group calculated with other link rates, this algorithm selects the link with better rate for transmission to improve the throughput of the whole network. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified by theoretical analysis.
