Some researchers have investigated dynamical behaviors of complex dynamical networks in recent years, especially synchronization. However, the networks models in most of the above mentioned investigations,in which the nodes are connected by one weight, there are very few results on multi-weighted complex dynamical networks.Furthermore, synchronization is often required to be achieved in a finite time interval in many practical circumstances. Therefore,it is necessary to consider finite-time synchronization of multi-weighted complex dynamical networks in this paper. On the other hand, the Cohen-Grossberg neural network is a kind of single-weight complex dynamic networks, however, very few authors studied the Cohen-Grossberg neural network due to its structural complexity.Hence,finite-time synchronization of coupled Cohen-Grossberg neural networks is also researched in this paper.First of all,a finite-time synchronization criterion which ensures that multi-weighted complex dynamical networks with and without coupling delays realize synchronization in finite time is established by means of Lyapunov functional.Second, based on Dini derivative,finite-time synchronization for multi-weighted complex dynamical networks with switching topology is considered.Third, linearly coupled Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with and without coupling delays are investigated by means of designed suitable state functionals. In view of the research results above,we similarly research finite-time synchronization for nonlinearly coupled Cohen-Grossberg neural networks by some inequality techniques. In the end,the availability and feasibility for the obtained finite-time synchronization results is confirmed by several numerical examples.
