Wireless sensor networks have been paid attention in the world, due to its unique advantages in many fields. In the application of shooter localization, single node has its own shortcomings of small array caliber and low detection accuracy.Considering the problems above,a data fusion scheme is realized on wireless sensor networks. For the real-time character of shooter localization system, the design includes four aspects, namely, communication protocol, network topology, sensor node and time synchronization. With the requirement of real-time data transmission,a competitive mechanism based on MAC protocol for wireless sensor network is designed. In view of real-time and communication distance, packet format and transmission rate of sensor node are programmed. In the light of node failure, the topology with double cluster heads ensures the normal operation of wireless sensor networks. The sensor node undertakes lots of complex functions, such as data acquisition, wireless communication and data fusion. The design scheme based on FPGA+NIOS ? aims at improving node performance and parallel processing capability. Then senor gives a hardware support for real-tine data transmission.Low-complexity time synchronization is proposed in this paper to simplify the task of sensor node.By eliminating clock error periodically, the global clock of the whole network is kept in a stable range.Using the method of time delay estimation and routing integrated time synchronization, sensor node optimizes the time information of shooter for data fusion. |
