Radar is a microwave remote sensing device with electromagnetic wave as the carrier.And the extraction work in view of the features of electromagnetic scattering is the basis for interpretation of radar images.Starting with electromagnetic scattering mechanism,through the parametric modeling approach of radar,we could turn the problem about feature extraction from the scattering center into the problem of extraction of the parameter from modeling of electromagnetic scattering.As a new radar imaging technology,the radar data fusion approach has broken through the limitation of single radar and single angel resolution,enabling us to obtain images with higher resolution.Combined with the property scattering center model,we could convert the problem of radar data fusion to the problem of signals'sparse representation.The accurate extraction of parameters of scattering centers would not only improve the quality of the final image,but also facilitate the follow-up feature extraction and analysis.This paper mainly includes the following three parts.In the first part,the author focused on the introduction of the development of the target parametric modeling of electromagnetic scattering as well as the significance of researches on high resolution radar imaging on the basis of data fusion and the present situation of domestic and foreign researches.After that,the author provided the relationship between several classic scattering center models and introduced the basic principles of sparse signal representation theory and radar imaging.In the second part,the author studied on the extraction method for center modeling of property scattering.Aiming at the problems of multiple model parameters and big structural dimension of the dictionary,the author considered using joint estimation method to reduce computational complexity and adopted the methods of dictionary refinement and alternative optimization to reduce the dimension of the dictionary and the corresponding demand on system resources.In the third part,the author elaborated on the sparse band and sparse aperture radar data fusion technology.The radar data fusion technology,combined with modeling method of property scattering center,is able to realize reconstruction and restoring the data of full band and full viewing angel and finally improve the resolution of radar imaging;meanwhile,taking into account the continuity and the physical significance of the main parts of the objects in the image,it could also remedy the defects of small amount of information of target features and incapability to distinguish the characteristics of target under the circumstance of missing data by using more information on modeling parameters.
