Research On The Crude Oil Velocity Sensor Based On Venturi Tube

Liquid metering oil production is the key process which is related to the high water content of the oil field development decisions geology,yield analysis,the adjustment of production process and other aspects.Currently,the co mmon method is separately metered after phase separation,but this approach has lots of disadvantages,such as la rge volume,high ener gy consumption,and expensive.Therefore,a com pact,high-precision,without separating liquid production line metering sensor is urgent needed.This paper is focus on the practical prob lems of individual well production fluid metering of high w ater cut oil f ield.After analyzing advantages and disadvantages of the various velocity sensors,Venturi tube is selected as the basis for flow measurement.This paper can be divide d into three parts: Firstly,it has theoretically analyzed the characteristics of multiphase flow field and m easuring principle of Venturi tube sensor;Secondly,designed the structure of Venturi tube.According to the require ments of oilfield explosion-proof,selected FBG temperature and di fferential pressure sensor to ge t extraction characteristics signals of the V enturi tube and param eters of the num erical calculation of compensation.Thirdly,numerical simulations of the Venturi tube structure under the oil-water two-phase f low analysis carried out for t he Venturi tube used in the oil-water two-phase flow measurement basis of numer ical analysis.Finally,experimentally established calibration device simulation,and have an adjustable flow rate freq uency,automatic gas co ntrol and ot her functions.Lengthy and repeated tests to verify the stability of the flow rate sensor.The experimental results are analyzed and discussed the i mpact of gas disturbance on flow measurement.This paper has pr oved that V enturi oil f low rate sensor,which is simple-structured,easy to ins tall,explosion-proof,without electrical sensor and suitable for measuring the complex flow field,can satisfy the online measurement of crude oil production and has important value.
