Differential pressure sensor is mainly used in petroleum,natural gas,chemical industry,metallurgy and other fields,which is by getting the values of differential pressure parameters to achieve the flow measurement of gas and fluid.It is an emergency to investigate the differential pressure sensor which is security in essence and anti-jamming,for the traditional electric differential pressure sensors are not applicable in the environment of severe electromagnetic interference,inflammable,explosive and other conditions.This paper demonstrates a novel method of measuring the fluid differential pressure,which is by the way of no electricity measuring and nature security with the help of FBG sensor.Firstly,the principle of FBG sensing technology,structure and the principle of magnetic transmitting differential pressure sensor were investigated in depth.The pros and cons of some kinds of differential pressure sensing techniques were analyzed.The equal-force beam and corrugated diaphragm,differential pressure sensor,overload-resistant and magnetic transmitting structure were designed by UG simulation software.Then,the equal-force beam and corrugated diaphragm were simulated with ANSYS by changing the thickness of diaphragm and the parameters of motion.Referring to the result of simulation,the dimension and materials of the equal-force beam and corrugated diaphragm were selected.The manufactured FBG differential pressure sensor is used to calibration and formed a set of pressure calibrating device with the range of 0-6MPa and it adepts in linearity with the sensitivity of 0.011nm/kPa.The magnetic transmitting differential pressure sensor adopts a novel structure of sealing isolation magnetic transmitting,which is by the way of isolating the awaiting measuring medium and the sensitive units to avoid the medium erosion to FBG sensitive units.Thus the reliability and durability can be drastically promoted,which makes it a even broader prospect in the field of metrology.
