Intuitive imagination,as the basis of mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning and mathematical modeling,has a great influence in the development of students' lifelong literacy.According to the Shanghai college entrance examinations in recent years,we can find the importance of Intuitive imagination in seeking problem-solving ideas.Therefore,this article explores the cultivation of intuitive imagination in the teaching of the sequence.Firstly,the article summarizes the domestic research about intuitive imagination and the hot issues in sequence teaching.It finds two points that are worth studying: the one is that the teaching cases of cultivating intuitive imagination focus on the two sections on geometry and function.Although the sequence is a special function,but there is few research on intuitive imagination in the teaching of the sequence.The other one is the problem of the sequence makes full use of the knowledge about the function to make it intuitive.And it effectively analyzes the essence of the sequence.But between observing images and finding solutions,how to make students autonomously move from intuitive to abstract in teaching is worth studying.Then,this article made interviews with two teachers.The content is about the teaching strategies of intuitive imagination,the frequency in the class and the problems of teaching.In addition,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the two classes in order to understand students' understanding of geometry in the knowledge of sequence.Two conclusions are drawn from it.The basic knowledge about sequence of the senior high school students is not more better than that of the same high school students.Students lack of analysis of the problem with intuitive vision.Based on the conclusion of the investigation,the author conducted a holistic analysis of the contents of sequence,and put forward the strategies of the intuitive teaching and teaching design.Combining with problems on sequence in the college entrance examination in recent years,based on Polya's problem-solving theory,it worth thinking about using intuitive imagination to solve the sequence problem.
