STEM education mainly leads students to study through project type,inquiry type and experience type,and gradually cultivates students' scientific inquiry thinking and creativity in the new teaching method,and enables them to master the knowledge content stipulated in the curriculum standard,which has a positive role in promoting the development of education in China.But according to the existing research,the STEM education in our country is in the groping stage.By connecting STEM education with the teaching of biology compulsory course in senior high school,the study tries to carry out relevant case design and verify its feasibility and effectiveness,so as to provide reference for integrating STEM education into the teaching of biology compulsory course in senior high school.The research is mainly carried out through literature,case law and experiment.There are six parts:Part I: Introduction.Based on the needs of the development of the times,the needs of educational reform and the needs of innovative talents,this paper expounds the research background.Part II: Overview.Define the relevant concepts of STEM education and introduce the theoretical basis closely related to STEM education,including constructivism theory," learning from doing " theory,engineering thought and trial and error learning theory.Part ?: The construction of biology teaching thought which integrates STEM education.Based on constructivism theory,doing middle school theory,engineering thought and trial theory of engineering and the theory of trial and error,aiming at cultivating students' scientific inquiry thinking and creativity according to the characteristics of biology teaching in senior high school,through the analysis and integration of Saiye model and problem-oriented learning model,the design process of biology teaching which can be effectively integrated into STEM education is constructed.background,and puts forward the purpose and significance,methods and ideas of the research through the analysis of the current research situation at home and abroad.Part ?: the biology teaching case design which integrates the STEM education.Two cases of "enzyme reducing activation energy of chemical reaction" and "construction of DNA double helix model" were designed and analyzed based on "work design-oriented curriculum" and "science model-based curriculum ",which were integrated into biology curriculum of senior high school by STEM education.Part V: Verification of the effectiveness of teaching cases in biology integrated with STEM education.Based on the control experiment,the SPSS data processing software was used to process the test results.In the case of Enzymes Reducing the Activation Energy of Chemical Reaction,the results of the students were statistically analyzed.Using the questionnaire,according to the students' recognition of STEM education into biology classroom,the degree of understanding of relevant biology knowledge,the feedback on whether STEM teaching can improve learning effect,the feedback on whether STEM teaching can improve interest in biology subject and maintain attention,the feedback on practical application STEM education,the feedback on teachers' application of STEM education in the classroom,it is found that most of the students satisfied with integrating STEM education in the classroom.By analyzing the students' teaching effect scale and test results,we find that the work design of the experimental class is better and the result is better than that of the control class.As a result,it is feasible and effective to integrate biology teaching into STEM education.Part VI: Conclusions and recommendations.Based on the conclusion of this study,the author puts forward some reasonable suggestions to integrate STEM education into biology teaching in senior high school.
