With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of skills in the21 st century,the society has put forward new requirements on the cultivation of talents.In China,the 2017 new high school information technology curriculum standard also lists computational thinking as one of the core qualities of the discipline,and computational thinking is the core issue of the cultivation of the core qualities of the discipline.China’s ministry of education also pointed out that "the development of computer education in primary and secondary schools focuses on information technology and should cultivate students’ information awareness and computational thinking".At present,more and more researchers begin to pay close attention to computational thinking,the study of computational thinking is still in its infancy,and mainly focused on the cultivation of the computational thinking strategy,and in the development of digital computing thinking ability students with outstanding advantages,not only is the creation of teaching situation tool,but also to promote the students’ knowledge construction and thinking training to create favorable digital learning environment,therefore,in the junior middle school information technology discipline,to calculate the thought culture as the goal,to explore the design and application of digital story has certain theoretical significance and practical value.This study adopted the method of literature review,a quasi-experimental study,questionnaire,interview method,based on the number of computational thinking training for design and application as the main study questions,through the study of computational thinking,digital story related literature summary,the constructivism theory,multiple intelligence theory,situational learning theory,under the guidance of junior middle school students’ thinking characteristic of analysis and junior high school information technology course and the computational thinking training requirement analysis,design of different types of digital story,and in view of the computational thinking,generalization,abstraction,the decomposition algorithm thought,evaluate the five elements,In this paper,the method of computational thinking is applied in every link of digital story design,and the design model of digital story based on computational thinking is summarized,and two typical cases of digital story are selected to carry out detailed design.Finally,the quasi-experimental research method is adopted to apply digital stories in knowledge construction,problem solving,cooperative exploration and other teaching links.Through the analysis of the cultivation effect of students’ computational thinking level and the analysis of their academic achievements,it is proved that the introduction of digital stories into information technology courses can effectively promote the development of students’ computational thinking ability.Through interviews with teachers and students,the digital stories were well receivedby both teachers and students.Therefore,as a teaching tool,digital story creates a meaningful learning environment and is nested in the process of the cultivation of computational thinking,which is of certain value to promote the development and implementation of the cultivation of computational thinking.
