| With the continuous development of China’s economy and social transformation,the social problem of empty nesters has become increasingly prominent.To ensure this special group live a happy and stable life in their old age,scientific and reasonable sports lifestyle should play a positive role.Regular participation in sports activities not only helps the empty nesters to improve their physique and health,but also helps them increase interpersonal communication,dispel inner loneliness and cultivate a positive attitude towards life.This paper takes the sports lifestyle of the empty nesters in the Dabie mountain area of eastern Hubei Province as the research object,and selects four first-level indexes including the subject of sports behavior,the conditions of sports behavior,the characteristics of sports behavior,and the benefits of sports behavior,and 17second-level indexes including the mode of sports activity,the time of sports activity,the intensity of sports activity,etc.Through research methods such as literature consultation,questionnaire survey,Semi-structured Interviews,mathematical statistics and Delphi.Questionnaire survey and interview are conducted on the empty nesters and community workers in Dabie mountain area of eastern Hubei Province to analyze the status quo of their sports lifestyle and summarize the existing problems and relevant influencing factors.Based on the new public service theory,the paper proposes the path selection of service guarantee system construction.The results show that: for the empty nesters in the Dabie mountain area of eastern Hubei Province,(1)the form of their participation in sports activities is relatively simple and their exercise load is relatively low,activity lack of personal guidance;(2)the level of their sports consumption is relatively low,more than 70% of the annual sports consumption amount is less than 500 yuan and it is mainly based on physical consumption such as clothing and equipment;the most important factor affecting the consumption is their income level;(3)most of them agree that physical activity can improve their life quality and health conditions;(4)internal factors such as living habits,economic basis,values and personal consciousness,together withexternal factors such as the sports facilities,physical training atmosphere,activity guidance,and policies,restrict them to participate in sports activities.The following suggestions are put forward:(1)intensify the care for the empty nesters and advocate new health concepts;(2)make full use of existing resources and innovate the content and form of sports activities;(3)improve the construction of relevant laws and regulations and effectively protect the sports rights of empty nesters;(4)build an Internet+ sports big data platform to strengthen information exchange and sharing. |
