In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's vocational education has developed rapidly from scratch,and has formed a certain scale,which has greatly promoted the development of China's education,but in this process,vocational education also faces many challenges.Based on the current development environment of Vocational education,formulating effective development strategies has become an important way for vocational schools to meet market challenges and find the way out and development direction in the future.With the decrease of students and the increase of the number of Vocational and technical schools,M Vocational and Technical College is facing increasingly fierce market competition in recent years.The old development model has been unable to better promote the overall development of the school.Therefore,with the background of the development process and reality of M Vocational and Technical College,based on the analysis of a large number of internal data and the guiding ideology of strategic theory,the future development of M Vocational and Technical College is strategically planned by using Porter's Five Forces Analysis,PEST Analysis,SWOT Analysis and other theoretical methods.Firstly,the paper expounds the general theoretical concepts of development strategy and strategic management,and lays the groundwork for the strategic management of M vocational technology.Then,on the basis of theory,the external environment and internal conditions facing M vocational and technical development are analyzed.It can be seen that M Vocational and Technical School is facing not only the development opportunities of the support of national policies and the increase of social demand,but also the development challenges of the same type of schools,such as competition,local barriers to enrollment,etc.It has the development advantages of excellent teaching staff and outstanding school performance,but also the development disadvantages of unreasonable teacher structure and inadequate hardware facilities.Finally,this paper systematically studies the development strategy of M Vocational and Technical College,and puts forward its current need to strengthen the teaching staff and improve the teaching infrastructure as the key content of strategic development.On this basis,based on the study of the actual situation,the school establishes a brand-new specialty within the college to promote the characteristic development of the school.Through this study,on the one hand,it enriches the relevant theoretical research results of strategic management;on the other hand,it helps M Vocational and Technical College to find a suitable development strategy,so as to promote the vocational school to obtain further development momentum in the fierce market competition environment.At the same time,the research results of this paper also provide some theoretical reference for the development of other similar vocational and technical schools in China.
