China is a country with a large agricultural population proportion.The condition of the nation results in the fact that solutions to the three rural issues(ie,agriculture,rural areas and peasants)must be found to make the people rich and the country strong.Therefore,it is vital to transfer the rural surplus labor force to non-agricultural and urban areas,accelerate the process of urbanization,ensure the construction of socialist new countryside and build up comprehensive well-off society.It goes without saying that vocational education plays a key role in the steady and orderly transfer of rural labor force.However,with the urbanization advancement speeding up unceasingly,the unceasing change of market demand and the adjustment of agricultural industrial construction,vocational schools are faced with quite a few problems while participating in the rural labor force training.This essay analyzes the current situation which vocational schools face in rural labor force transfer training,discloses some specific problems and puts forward countermeasures and the suggestions for vocational schools in rural labor transfer training,which will help deal with the three rural issues,speed up the construction of urbanization,develop the cities and countryside as a whole and transfer the surplus rural labor force.Taking Chengdu XX vocational technical school as a study object,this essay,by using literature research,questionnaires,analysis and research of statistics,mainly deals with the basic situation and characteristics in labor force transfer training.It also reveals the varied training objects,the insufficiency of curriculum reform,the lack of practice base,the weak construction of teachers,the single training mode,the unreasonable evaluation systems and the lack of vocational guidance as well.Besides,it analyses the relevant factors.In view of the existing problems,this essay puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for vocational and technical school in labor transfer training.Based on the research on the labor transfer training of XX vocational school in Chengdu city,the conclusions are drawn as follows: Firstly,the dominant position of the government ought to be emphasized,the overall plans ought to be made from the government perspective,more finance ought be invested and a sound management system ought to be established.Secondly,the internal reform of vocational schools should be deepened,such as improving the school management systems,strengthening the construction of teachers,innovating the education and teaching reform,emphasizing the school running characteristics and expanding the school publicity and social influence.Finally,social vitality of school running ought to be stimulated.It can be done by setting up internal vocational education groups among secondary vocational schools with vocational colleges to form education groups.Different vocational schools can interact and cooperate with enterprises to promote the development of vocational education and improve the training of rural surplus labor force effectively.
