As a large-scale international student assessment,PISA had a wide range of influence,having attracted much attention.The frameworks of literacy were proposed by PISA and represented the latest results of current international researches on literacy which has triggered a new round of curriculum reforms in numerous countries.However,the existing researches on literacy failed to outline the value discipline of literacy clearly and there were some misunderstanding about PISA and the concept of literacy.Therefore,the research on the value logic of literacy which was put out by PISA could not only clarifying the literacy’s orientation and its value selection discipline,but also could contribute to the literacy movement in China.In this study,the way of the text analysis was used to analyse the relevant PISA researches.The development process of the concept of literacy in PISA was comprehensively analyzed through the historical research.In the end of the study,through comparative studying the reference meaning of the value logic for literacy in PISA was revealed.This article included the following seven chapters.Chapter One: This chapter worked as an introduction which summarizes the research background,research purpose,research significance,concept definition,research ideas and research methods.Chapter Two: This chapter introduced the current research results about literacy associated with PISA,summarizing the historical trends and basic viewpoints of PISA literacy researches,pointing out the significance and shortcomings of the existing researches.Chapter Three: This chapter reviewed the evolution of the literacy concept in PISA.Through analyzing the concepts of literacy in the pre-PISA period,in the incubation period,in the formation and consolidation periods,the process and the characteristics of literacy can be clarified.Chapter Four: This chapter discussed the value logic of literacy in PISA.According to the implication of value orientation and value selection in axiology,two analytical dimensions were derived: value orientation and value selection.Chapter Five: This chapter studied PISA’s literacy from the dimension of value orientation.Using the theory of "Ziel-Method" Schema,through the analysis of the educational goals of the OECD and the characteristics of the concept of literacy in PISA,the value orientation of literacy in PISA could be regarded as the "political-economic-cultural" Trinity lifelong learning.Chapter Six: This chapter studied PISA’s literacy from the perspective of value selection.By summarizing and organizing the value selection discipline of context,knowledge and competence of PISA,it was clarified that PISA seems helping youngsters to cope with the complexity of real life as the main discipline for value selection.It was supplemented by the consideration of students’ cognitive characteristics,interest characteristics,the particularity of subject knowledge,and the ability to reflect.Chapter Seven: This chapter condensed the reference meaning of the value logic of literacy in PISA.This study pointed out the suggestions from two aspects: value orientation and value selection.Chapter eight: This chapter summarized the relevant conclusions in this research and pointed out the shortcomings of this research and the focus for future research.
