Abstract/Summary:
Geographical core literacy includes comprehensive thinking,geographical practice,regional cognition and human-land coordination.Among them,as one of the core qualities,regional cognition plays a very important role.Therefore,in the practice of geography teaching,every high school geography teacher should pay attention to cultivate the students’ regional cognitive abilities and seek strategies to cultivate the regional cognitive literacy.This paper uses the methods of literature analysis,investigation,case analysis and so on to study the status and problems of regional cognitive ability of high school geography teachers and students,and puts forward strategies to improve students’ regional cognitive ability from the perspective of teachers and students,and use the class taught by myself to conduct comparative experimental research.Firstly,the high school geography teacher in Area C was investigated and analyzed,and the following conclusions were drawn that Teachers in weak areas of education are not clear enough about the connotation and components of regional cognition based on core literacy perspective,and the way to improve their own regional cognitive teaching level needed to be improved,and the effective teaching strategy organization for regional cognitive cultivation was lacking.There were many factors influencing the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy in teaching strategy organization..Furthermore,the analysis found that the students’ regional cognitive literacy level is low,which was at the first and second levels,and the differences between the levels of literacy are large through the test of R middle school senior middle school liberal arts students.The specific problems were as follows: the regional spatial thinking ability was poor;there was no analytical method to master regional characteristics;it was not good at using comparative methods to analyze regional differences;the ability of students to extract geographical information was relatively weak;and the ability of students to think and analyze regional development issues needs to be strengthened.Based on the above research,the training strategies of high school students’ regional cognitive ability were proposed from both teachers and students.In terms of teachers,strengthen the awareness of self-regional cognitive literacy;strengthen the teaching behaviorof regional cognitive literacy.In terms of student,the student should use the thought guide graph to improve the spatial positioning ability;construct the regional characteristic thinking frame by using the thought guide graph;using the thought guide graph to cultivate students’ ability to compare regional differences;using thought guide graph to improve students’ information processing ability;using thought guide graph to improve student area development exploration ability.Finally,the comparative study of the class taught by the author was used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the regional cognitive culture strategy.
