The Ministry of Education states in the "Basic Concepts of the Course" of the 2017 edition of the "Standards for Ordinary Senior High School Physics Curriculum":focus on cultivating and developing students' independent learning ability,and encourage teachers to guide students to understand the essence of physics through a variety of teaching methods.This requires frontline physics teachers to integrate teaching methods which are more suitable for students into physics teaching.According to the characteristics of senior high school physics curriculum,in the process of physics teaching,the focus of teaching lies on the physical concepts teaching.Therefore,teachers should attach more importance to adopting reasonable and effective teaching methods when teaching physical concepts.However,due to the influence of traditional teaching idea,most teachers are often in the middle of the physical concepts lesson,and do not pay attention to letting students experience the establishment of physical concepts,the teaching effect is greatly reduced.Therefore,there is an urgent need to break the traditional teaching methods,find and apply new and more effective methods in senior high school physical concepts teaching.The scaffolding teaching method,which is based on constructivist theory,advocates that students are the main body and teachers provide effective guidance and support for students in the way of building teaching "scaffolds",thus inspiring students to complete the construction of knowledge in the form of independence or group cooperation to achieve higher-level teaching goals.This thesis studies the application of the scaffolding teaching method to senior high school physical concepts teaching.The main research methods of this thesis are literature method and survey method.Firstly,the background of this thesis and the relevant research at home and abroad are analyzed.The research ideas and significance of the thesis and the main research methods are summarized.Secondly,the related concepts of the scaffolding teaching method are expounded,and the educational teaching theory which has important guiding significance for this research is introduced.Thirdly,through the student questionnaire survey and teacher interview survey,the main problems in the current high school physical concepts teaching are summarized.In order to improve the current situation of high school physics concept teaching,the application research of the scaffolding teaching method,which is based on the general process of physical concepts teaching,is carried out,and some operative teaching strategies are put forward:grasp the students' recent development area,find the focus of building the scaffolds;build the scaffolds in the introduction of physical concepts to stimulate students' interest in learning;build the scaffolds in the establishment of physical concept to guide students to make the scientific inquiry;build the scaffolds in the application of physical concepts to help students strengthen and consolidate the concepts.Finally,the author uses the above-mentioned relevant strategies to design some teaching cases.After many modifications,the teaching practice is carried out in the classroom.There are two examples of new lessons to illustrate the application of some strategies in the teaching practice in this thesis.After teaching practice,the research conclusion is drawn:the scaffolding teaching method can not only play the guiding role of teachers,but also reflect the teaching concept of the student center;using a variety of scaffolds can stimulate students' interest and motivation in learning physical concepts,and cultivate students' autonomy ability;it can enable students to establish physical concepts in teacher-student interaction and team mutual assistance;scaffolding teaching focuses on the students' own evaluation of the process of learning physical concepts,which is conducive to improving the level of metacognition.
