Objective:To explore the influence of sports club activities with different exercise frequency for 12 weeks on the mental health and self-knowledge of junior high school students,and further explore the mediating role of self-awareness in the mental health of sports associations with different exercise frequency every week.Promote students' physical and mental health through sports club activities,and provide a theoretical basis for students to develop sports core literacy.Research methods:350 students from the first and second grades of a middle school in Yangzhou City were selected as experimental subjects by means of convenient sampling.Divided into control group(1)and experimental group(2).The experimental group 1-group 2 carried out 2 or 4 sports club activities each week,each activity lasting one hour.A 12-week moderate-intensity exercise was conducted,and the control group performed non-sports club activities every week.The "Psychological Health Scale for Middle School Students" and the"Self-Awareness Scale for Children and Adolescents" were used,and the group measurement method was used to measure the group 1 week before the experiment and after the experimental intervention.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention,the self-recognition of junior high school students had the main effect of time on interpersonal self,physical self-dimension and total score(P<0.05).There were group main effects in the interpersonal self,sports self,physical self dimension and total score(P<0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention,the mental health of junior high school students had the main effect of interpersonal harmony,test sedation,emotional stability dimension and total score(P<0.05).There were group main effects in interpersonal harmony,test sedation,emotional stability dimension and total score(P<0.05).There were time and group interactions in life happiness,test sedation dimensions,and total scores(P<0.05).(3)Self-awareness The mediation effect on the mental health of junior high school students is influenced by four sports club activities per week.Research conclusions:(1)Sports club activities can improve the mental health of junior high school students.Among them,the mental health level of students who exercised 4 times a week was the most significant.(2)Sports club activities can improve the level of self-awareness of junior high school students.Among them,the mental health level of students who exercised 4 times a week was the most significant.(3)Participating in 4 sports club activities every week can directly affect the mental health of junior high school students,and can also directly affect the mental health of junior high school students through self-knowledge.
