Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Three-person Basketball In Colleges And Universities In Southwestern Shandong

With the three-player basketball becoming the official competition items of the World Cup,Asian Games and Youth Olympic Games,it was declared as the 32 nd Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020 by June 9,2017.On July 3,2017,the General Administration of Sports announced that the three-player basketball was listed as the 13 th National Games.The three-player basketball was unanimously recognized and highly supported by the people all over the country.Three-man basketball has been introduced in different degrees,and three-man basketball competitions have been held at various levels.All parts of Shandong Province are constantly responding to the relevant requirements of the State Sports Administration and implementing the relevant policies of three-person basketball.The three-person basketball matches in Baixian County,Shandong Province,"I want to go to the Olympic Games" and the three-person basketball matches in Shandong National Fitness Games have become the symbolic events of the three-person basketball in Shandong Province.Nevertheless,the development of three-player basketball in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong has been tepid.For this reason,based on the regional characteristics of Southwest Shandong,this paper chooses six undergraduate colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong as the object of this study by using the methods of documentation,questionnaire survey,field investigation,expert interview and mathematical statistics.Starting from the basic situation of students’ interest in sports,intensity of sports,scale of sports events and resource allocation,this paper makes a study of Shandong Province.The present situation,potential value and existing problems of three-player basketball in Colleges and universities in Southwest China are investigated and studied,and its development countermeasures are explored.The following conclusions are summarized:(1)Three-man basketball,as a sport that has been vigorously promoted in recent years,has developed rapidly in the southwest of Shandong Province.College students in Southwest Shandong have a high degree of participation in three-player basketball,but the incomplete allocation of teachers and venues and facilities has seriouslyaffected the overall development of three-player basketball in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong.(2)The organizational status of three-person basketball matches in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong is not perfect.Most of the matches are spontaneously organized by students with small scale and level,and the organizational system of the matches is not perfect.Most schools hold three-person basketball matches every year.The scale,quality and quantity of the matches are difficult to meet students’ needs.(3)The development of three-person basketball in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong has obvious shortcomings in sports teaching.In basketball classes,teachers mostly teach according to the traditional five-person basketball model.The relevant content of three-person basketball accounts for a small proportion in sports teaching,and even some college basketball classes do not reflect the content of three-person basketball at all.(4)The teaching and training of three-person basketball referees in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong have not been paid enough attention.Most of the referees’ teaching and training are aimed at explaining the basic rules of five-person basketball for students majoring in basketball.There are few contents concerning recording methods and executing skills of three-person basketball.Universities should attach importance to the popularization of three-person basketball rules among students.(5)College students in Southwest Shandong preferred the three-person basketball as a whole.They highly recognized the value of this sport and actively participated in the three-person basketball matches within the school and practiced their skills after school.Most of the motivations for students’ participation were entertainment,fitness,communication and the need to improve their skills.(6)Underdeveloped economy and insufficient attention of relevant functional departments are the main factors affecting and restricting the development of three-person basketball in Colleges and universities in Southwest Shandong.Schools lack a reasonable mechanism conducive to the development of this project.Lack ofeffective guidance and organizational management for students participating in the three-person basketball is the most important factor.
