Practicing essays is a writing training based on what we have learned in the reading class.Its purpose is to help students use the language knowledge they have learned in class,so as to promote the combination of reading and writing,and improve their language literacy.With the popularization of pragmatic awareness,more and more Chinese teachers are exploiting teaching resources in reading teaching,and trying to cultivate students’ language ability by practicing with essays.As essay writing is in the initial stage of research,but also exposed many problems,therefore,we should study the current situation of essay writing,find out the problems,analyze the reasons,and find the appropriate teaching strategies for essay writing,so that it can be used in reading teaching classes and implement pragmatics.In the course of the research,through the questionnaire survey and interviews on the current situation of essay writing practice in elementary schools,I found that the existing problems of essay writing practice run through before,during and after the practice.Before practicing,the goal is not clear,the effect is not ideal,and after practicing,the evaluation is not in place.In view of the literature review and the current situation investigation,the author summarizes the research results in teaching practice from the theoretical point of view,and establishes the optimization strategy of essay writing from three aspects: what to practice,how to practice and how to evaluate.Firstly,it defines what to practice with essay,that is,the training point of language and writing;secondly,it sets up an effective teaching link in teaching,that is,how to practice.Teachers should ensure that the teaching point of language and writing in reading class is unified with the training point of essay and writing,select appropriate teaching methods,stimulate students’ interest,learn first,then use,learn and apply,so as to achieve the purpose of application.Finally,we should pay attention to feedback,which is "how to evaluate".We should evaluate students according to the language training points,and revise them in time to really implement pragmatics. |
