In January 2018,the Ministry of Education of China issued the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the new Curriculum Standard)which defined six core qualities of senior high school mathematics,including mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation and data analysis [1].The new curriculum standard explains the six core literacy from four aspects: concept,meaning,performance and requirement.At the same time,it divides the six core literacy into three levels from four dimensions: situation and problem,knowledge and skills,thinking and expression,communication and reflection.Mathematical Abstract literacy,as the first core literacy of mathematics,is the basic idea of mathematics and an important basis to help students form good mathematical thinking.The investigation and Research on the level of mathematics Abstract literacy of senior one students can use real data to grasp the actual situation of mathematics Abstract literacy teaching and learning,provide valuable reference materials and direction for the follow-up study of mathematics Abstract literacy,and play a certain role in demonstration and guidance for the study of other five aspects of mathematics core literacy,so as to develop students' mathematics in an all-round way.Core accomplishments add brick and tile.The research questions include:(1)compiling a test paper of mathematics Abstract literacy level for senior one students with good reliability and validity.(2)Understanding comprehensively the level of mathematics abstraction literacy of senior one students.(3)Get a reflection on the current situation of teaching and learning about abstract mathematics literacy.In order to compile the test paper for the level of abstract mathematics literacy of senior one students,firstly,a large number of theoretical foundations are studied by literature analysis method.According to the new curriculum standard,the weight distribution involving threelevel and four-dimensional topics is obtained by Delphi method.Then through the two predictive tests,the reliability and validity tests,the final test paper of mathematics Abstract literacy level of senior high school students was determined as a research tool and evaluated by using the Schoenfield scoring system to formulate evaluation criteria.After the test,the data are preliminarily inputted and collated by Microsoft Excel,and the test results are explained horizontally and vertically by SPSS22.0,so as to give some teaching suggestions on improving students' Abstract literacy in mathematics.Research conclusions:(1)Horizontally,the level of situation and problem is relatively high,followed by thinking and expression,while the level of knowledge and skills,communication and reflection is relatively low.(2)Longitudinally,most of the students in Grade One are in Level One A,Level Two C and Level D.Only 3.6% of the students can reach Level Three.(3)There is no significant difference in the level of abstract mathematics literacy between boys and girls in senior one.Teaching suggestions:(1)Enriching problem situations in context and problem dimensions.(2)Strengthening basic concepts teaching in knowledge and skills dimensions.(3)Focusing on independent thinking in thinking and expression dimensions.(4)Adding practice opportunities in communication and reflection dimensions.(5)Scientific evaluation of mathematical abstract literacy.
