In 2007,the subject of music was incorporated into Basic Ability Test of College Entrance Examination in Shandong Province.This has not only affirmed the value of music education,but also added a splendid touch to the history of music education reform in our country.Before this,although the high school music curriculum as the high school music education is an important part of the curriculum system,it is the weakest link in basic education.Because of the lack of scientific evaluation mechanism of music learning,there has been no good teaching situation.In 2007,the Shandong Provincial Education Department decided to incorporate music into the basic competence test,trying to use the "college entrance examination" as a command stick to strengthen the music education at the stage of basic education.However,in 2014,the basic competence examination was cancelled because of the serious tendency of "examination oriented" in the way of examination of the music into the College Entrance Examination.Now,is music in high school really being carried out today after the music withdrawal from the college entrance examination with the basic ability test? In this paper,the historical event of incorporation of music into College Entrance Examination is applied as a starting point.Through the investigation and comparative analysis of music education in three stages(before,during and after music was incorporated into College Entrance Examination)of four high schools in Jinan City,it discusses the impact of College Entrance Examination on high school music education from the perspective of historical development.Meanwhile,it puts forward reasonable suggestions for the emerging problems.This paper consists of five parts including introduction,three chapters and conclusion.The introduction mainly elaborates the research background,the reason of choosing the topic,the significance of it and the research method.The first chapter,through the way of interview,the author knows the situation of the high school music education in the two stages of the four high schools in Jinan(before and during music was incorporated into College Entrance Examination),and analyses the impact of College Entrance Examination on music education in four high schools in Jinan City.The second chapter mainly investigates the status quo of high school music education after the music withdrawal from the College Entrance Examination and analyzes its problems.The third chapter analyses the pros and cons of the historical event of the subject of music was incorporated into College Entrance Examination,and then puts forward the corresponding solutions to the problems confronted by the current high school music education.Meanwhile,make the reflection to the high school music education.The conclusion part gives a systematic summary to this paper.
