The coordination of theory and evidence is the core of scientific thinking,and it is also the direction of scientific education.This study adopts question situation method to select 90 children to investigate the coordination of theory and evidence.Conclusions are as follows:with the growth of children's age,children's understanding of the evidence was deepening;the older children were more capable of assessing the evidence;the older children were more able to distinguish between scientific evidence and non scientific evidence;the older children were more able to use evidence to prove their theories;the older children were more able to coordinate the theory and the evidence.Finally,we can promote the coordination between children's theory and evidence from three perspectives:interpretation,prediction and counterexample.
