Research On The Generation Mechanism And Resolution Path Of Chinese Social Resentment During The Transition Period

Social resentment is a kind of socia;mentality which is based on the change of political and economic system and it's existence is characterized by the negation of universality.The economic,political and social structure of our country has changed greatly since the reform and opening to the outside world nearly 40 years ago,and the"market,competition" orientation replaced the equalitarianism model.These emotions evolved into social resentments characterized as hostile to the rich,hatred officials,social hatred,indifferent "spectators" and extreme "stubborn",which have been highlighted,spread and strengthened through the social media in recent years.The accumulation of social resentment will certainly erode social cohesion,increase the cost of social development and uncertain risks.Therefore,it is important for us to examine and analyze the mechanism of the current social resentment mentality,and to explore the ways and means of resolving social resentment.Based on the interpretation of Western scholars' theory of resentment,this article focuses on the manifestations of resentment in the Chinese Society during the transition period,and summarizes the basic characteristics of social resentnent in the specific social context of China from four aspects:Generalization of forming field,the demonstration of tendency to violence,the labeling of pointing and the rapidity of dissemination.On the basis of this,this article analyzes the mechanism of social resentment from three aspects,the root cause of the growth,the institutional condition of accumulation and the mode of spread.It is the main social source of resentment in China.The misplacement of government power,the long-term emphasis on economy and light society,as well as the lag in political construction and the lack of channels for the expression of public interests are the institutional conditions that cause the accumulation of social resentment.And the social media has played a catalytic effect and reproduction role to the spread of social resentment and application,is the boosting helper of the spread of social resentment.Based on the analysis all above,this article proposes a way to resolve social resentment standing on the reconstruction of social order and social trust mechanism.
