Since the new curriculum reform,people pay more and more attention to the discipline of general technology.Engineering thinking,as one of the five core qualities of general technology curriculum,has attracted more and more educators’attention.Further research on how to train students’ engineering thinking in high school general technology curriculum and find ways to improve students’ engineering thinking level in classroom teaching will help improve students’ problem-solving ability,and at the same time,it is also conducive to the all-round development of students’ technological literacy.Based on the above situation,the research is mainly focused on the following issues:(1)how high school students’ engineering thinking level is;(2)according to the current situation of students,what are the Countermeasures in high school general technology curriculum,which can effectively improve students’ engineering thinking level.This paper mainly adopts action research method,combined with classroom observation and interview methods to explore how to cultivate students’ engineering thinking in high school general technology curriculum,and to provide a reference perspective for current high school general technology curriculum design.First of all,this paper expounds the research background,research content,research significance and research methods,and defines the related concepts.Then,it reviews the research status and teaching theories about engineering thinking training at home and abroad,and analyzes the basic contents,main characteristics and components of engineering thinking.Engineering thinking is "creation oriented" thought,is the basic content of"Engineering" and "forward" and "solution";engineering thinking is scientific,integrated and practice,the main characteristics of the art and logic,it not only has the knowledge connotation and practical meaning,but also has the value connotation of the elements;engineering thinking mainly includes the project decision-making,project design,project construction evaluation thinking and engineering thinking.On this basis,taking the two high grade class of Q high school in N city as the research object,taking the time of nearly four months,choosing the earthquake and architectural design project as the content of the teaching practice,it carries out the implementation of the action research in three stages.After each stage of the action research,it aims at the problems in the implementation process,collating new ideas and formulating new ideas.The action plan has been revised and perfected several times before entering the next stage of research.Finally,the data and experience of the whole process are summarized to find effective teaching measures for students’engineering thinking training.The results of three stages of action research show that general technical courses in general high school do have a good effect on cultivating students,thinking of engineering.Teachers can try to adopt the following teaching strategies in general technology course to promote the cultivation of students’ engineering thinking:(1)relying on item teaching and using task driven to improve students’ work Cheng Siwei;(2)encourage students to learn and train engineering thinking in the activities of engineering projects;(3)to guide students to study independently and to improve students’ engineering construction thinking;(4)adopt the model of group evaluation to train students’ engineering evaluation thinking.
