Homework is a part of the classroom teaching activities,it is also a means of the students to consolidate and apply the knowledge.It is the compensation and extension to the teachers' classroom teaching,and it is an important way to train students' ability and cultural awareness.However,due to the influence of traditional education,most teachers still attach importance to the teaching design,but they are more casual and unplanned in the arrangement of homework.In addition,the school also focuses on the evaluation of teaching ability when evaluating teachers' abilities.Therefore,driven by the general environment and the utilitarian mind,most teachers only spend their energy and time on teaching design,completely ignoring homework design.Through the survey of the questionnaire to teachers as well as the analysis of homework text,this study aims to understand the design and evaluation of high school teachers' extracurricular homework,find the existing problems,and analyze the attribution.On this basis,the study will put forward some feasible suggestions.At the same time,the study aims to help the teachers find out the problems existing in the homework design in time and summarize the evaluation criteria of homework design,and then teachers can design the homework which is more suitable for students' needs.The first part of this paper elaborates the research background,the research status of homework both at home and abroad,the research purpose and the significance of this research.The second part defines the core concept,and put forward the theory basis of this research,namely,the theory of multiple intelligences,“humanism” learning theory,the theory of the “zone of proximal development” and process evaluation,developmental education evaluation theory.The third part elaborates the research method and the research process.The fourth part uses the questionnaire survey and text analysis method to understand the design and evaluation status of extracurricular homework in high school,and find the mainly existing problems as following: the amount of homework is large and the content is repetitive;the goal of homework design and the type of homework are single and the content is boring;the homework design is lack of gradation and pertinence;the teachers' consciousness and ability of designing homework independently are weak;the teachers' awareness of evaluating homework design is weak.This part also analyzes the attribution of the existing problems.The fifth part puts forward the rational proposal of improving the design and evaluation of extracurricular homework in high school: the quantity of homework should be moderate and the quality should be guaranteed;the objectives of homework design should be diversified,the type of homework should be diversified,the content of homework should be enriched;the homework design should be of gradation and teachers should design personalized homework;teachers should improve the consciousness of designing homework independently,this part prepares the tools and standards for homework design evaluation;it provides reference for teachers,and analyzes the specific cases.Finally,the writer summarizes the results of the research and reflects on the shortcomings of the research process.In conclusion,this study hopes to provide some references and feasibility suggestions for high school teachers' homework design and evaluation.The writer wishes the teachers can really put their mind in homework design.In the process of homework design in the future,they can evaluate their own homework design objectively,revise the existing problems in time,and improve their design ability constantly.Thus,they can design high quality homework which conforms to the students' actuality,and then improve students' learning.
