Tennis has gained its popularity in Chengdu as the local government brought out the plan of building “Tennis City”---International events become regular,Schools start to introduce tennis,Amateur events become regular either.As a derivative of tennis,padle now has the possibility to gain its market in Chengdu.Padel is a community-friendly sport item,which is of popularity and elegance.And as a Commercial project,Padel is more competitive in cost and marketing comparing with tennis.Padel provides a low-cost,healthy and easy-to-learn sport experience;furthermore,it is of great entertaining.In Chengdu,Padel could expand rapidly basing on the sources of the applied tennis practitioners.This research mainly adopts the literature method,the observation method,the interview method,the questionnaire survey method and the data statistics method to analysis the prospect of Padel in Chengdu,which includes human resources,courts,equipment,training material and events.Then with the interviews from specialists,the research would bring out an analysis report on marketing Padel in Chengdu.1 Padel is an easy-to-learn aerobic item of popularity,entertaining,sociability.Padel has absorbed parts of the skills of tennis,squoosh,badminton and table tennis and it’s of high level of safety.Padel has its prospect as a mass sport item.2 The need of participating makes Padel a lubricant in social organizations3 Padel has great attraction for students from universities.It can be helpful in reforming sports courses in universities.Padel can be a choice to realize “ Health First,Life-long Fitness”.4 The atmosphere of innovation and unique geographical conditions bring opportunities to market Padel in Chengdu.Padel would be helpful in realizing the goal of building “Tennis City”.5 Padel-marketing needs the participation of specialists,schools,enterprises and the media.Association should be founded under the authority of government.6 Padel has its prospect in Chengdu.Padel will greatly promote the development of mass sports and school sports.
