Research On The Coordinated Development Of Higher Education And Economy In Sichuan Province

Nowadays,science,technology and knowledge innovation are increasingly becoming the important driving forces for economic development.The link between higher education and economy is becoming increasingly close.Coordinated development is an important development concept in China.To realize the coordinated development of higher education and economy is an inherent requirement for practicing the concept of development in China,and it is also an inevitable requirement for the sustainable and healthy development of China’s economy and society.As an important province of China’s economy and higher education,Sichuan’s coordinated development of higher education and economy is an important issue worth studying.This paper mainly uses descriptive statistical methods,comprehensive evaluation methods,and mathematical model methods.Based on the analysis of the present situation of higher education and economy in Sichuan Province,a comprehensive evaluation model and a coordination evaluation model are established to classify the types and criteria of coordinated development.This paper analyzes the level of development of higher education and economy,the coordination degree of higher education and economy,the coordinated development of higher education and economy in 21 cities in Sichuan Province.And the main conclusions of the study have been drawn and policy recommendations have been proposed.Chapter one mainly expounds the research background and significance,current research status,core concepts,research ideas,contents and methods.Chapter two mainly analyzes the current situation of higher education and economy in Sichuan province.Chapter three mainly introduces the main research methods: comprehensive evaluation method and coordinated development evaluation method.Chapter four mainly carries out empirical research.Firstly,an evaluation index system for the level of development of higher education and economy was established.Then the level of development and the coordinated development of higher education and economy in 21 cities in Sichuan Province was analyzed.Chapter five summarizes five main conclusions and proposes five policy recommendations.
