From "emotional Democracy" To "dialogue Democracy"

The western world today is a mess of broken traditions and worthless values.Facing the crisis of modern democracy in the West,Giddens' life and politics is a remarkable remedy.He believed that focusing on the public sphere,the politics of liberation failed to focus on the real private sphere,and only the life politics based on the real existence of specific individuals was the new face of democracy.In the field of life and politics,he proposed the theory of dialogue democracy in order to solve the democratization of liberal democratic system,while emotional democracy is the manifestation of dialogue democracy in the private sphere.It is a form of democratization generated by the fundamental transformation within intimate relations,representing a micro democracy,which first emerged in the relationship between men and women.Giddens believes that this kind of democracy is a kind of women's democracy,which is a form of democratization produced by women's struggle for equal rights with men.From emotional democracy to dialogue democracy is a "democratic strategy",which is essentially Giddens' attempt to supplement political democracy with emotional democracy.This paper mainly combs and analyzes Giddens' emotional democracy and dialogue democracy.Emotional democracy and dialogue democracy are the ideas of Giddens' radical political framework for realizing the democratization of liberal democracy,and are the important contents of his life and politics.The thought of changing from emotional democracy to dialogue democracy is giddens' thinking about the relationship between individual and politics,private and public spheres,and a strategic plan for solving the dilemma of contemporary liberal democracy system,which provides a new development direction for the development of contemporary liberal democracy system.The first chapter of this article mainly analyzes the background of emotional democracy and dialogue democracy and the connotation and essence of emotional democracy.The second chapter mainly examines the logic of deduction from emotional democracy to dialogue democracy,analyzes the realistic basis,logical basis and promotion strategy of emotional democracy to dialogue democracy,and examines the basis and the way of transition between the two.The third chapter mainly analyzes the theoretical connotation of dialogue democracy and compares Giddens dialogue democracy with deliberative democracy,and Marxist democracy discusses the contemporary value of dialogue democracy.
