Research On The Mechanism For Chinese Social Organizations To Participate In The "Belt And Road" Public Diplomacy

Social organizations are important participants in economic development,and they are also emerging forces for international cooperation and global governance.In the context of the "Belt and Road",China's social organizations need to actively "go out",participate in global affairs,and help increase China's international influence.Social organizations are one of the important subjects in carrying out public diplomacy at present.The “Belt and Road” also brings new opportunities and challenges to the construction and development of social organizations in China.In the context of the "Belt and Road",China's social organizations need to accelerate the pace of "going out." The participation of non-governmental organizations in the construction of the “Belt and Road” can help governments and businesses communicate better with local people,build bridges of friendly communication among all parties,promote people's aspirations,and improve China's international image.The assistance of social organizations to countries in the “Belt and Road” region is also an important form of public diplomacy and a supplement to official public diplomacy.At present,the mechanism for social organizations to participate in the “Belt and Road” public diplomacy is mainly divided into two aspects: government and social organizations.At the government level,there are mainly legal and policy mechanisms and management mechanisms.At the level of social organizations,the main participants of social organizations in the “Belt and Road” public diplomacy are economic and people 's livelihood assistance and expatriate volunteers.At the same time,social organizations represented by the International Association for the Promotion of Chinese Civil Organizations have established social organizations,governments,and society Communication platform between organizations.However,although China's social organizations have achieved a series of achievements in participating in the “Belt and Road” public diplomacy,the mechanism of social organizations' participation in the “Belt and Road” is still incomplete,such as the imperfect laws and policy systems,A series of problems such as rigid management systems and low internationalization of social organizations themselves.Regarding how to solve these problems and further promote the active participation of social organizations in the “Belt and Road” public diplomacy,the government must first change its functions,improve relevant laws and regulations,and provide a better support system for social organizations to participate in the “Belt and Road” public diplomacy.At the same time,social organizations need to speed up their own autonomous construction and reforms,and further enhance their ability to participate in the construction of the “Belt and Road”.
