| In the current social context,in order to obtain the support of the public and ensure the successful implementation of various policies and systems,the importance of political trust has been continuously highlighted.Domestic and foreign scholars have studied political trust and found that social fairness is one of the important influencing factors of political trust.Therefore,this paper explores the effects of procedural fairness,outcome fairness and the influence of their interaction on political trust through three studies.In the first study,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the relationship between social fairness and political trust in 243 social groups in different provinces,ages and education backgrounds.The purpose explore the relationship between different dimensions of social justice and political trust.Study 2 and Study 3 mainly use the dictator game paradigm to conduct behavioral experiments on students in Northwestern University.On the one hand,we can explore the influence of the interaction between procedural fairness and outcome fairness on political trust,and on the other hand,we can investigate the regulating effect of individual political trust level on the influence of procedural fairness and outcome fairness on political trust.This paper can be concluded from three studies:(1)Procedural fairness has a significant impact on the people’s political trust.(2)Outcome fairness has a significant impact on the people’s political trust.(3)The outcome fairness has a greater impact on the people’s political trust than the procedural fairness.(4)The interaction relationship between procedural fairness and outcome fairness has a significant impact on the people’s political trust.(5)The level of individual political trust has no regulatory effect on the impact of procedural fairness and outcome fairness on political trust. |
