Risk assessment of social stability plays a crucial role in feed-forward control of social stability.However,how to conduct risk assessment of social stability in a more scientific way has not been well solved up to now.Brittleness has become one of the most important features of complex systems.It reveals the fundamentals of interaction between subsystems in complex systems.Entropy is an important concept in physics to measure the degree of system chaos.Based on a detailed analysis of the complex system and their corresponding brittle characteristics,this study demonstrates that brittleness features always act on the complex systems and are often hidden.Only certain internal and external factors can trigger and cause system collapse.And then using the theory of entropy and negative entropy supply mechanism to further analyze and demonstrate the brittleness of complex systems,and in-depth study of four kinds of brittle process,three kinds of brittle model,brittle link,the non-cooperative games between brittle risk and complex subsystem and entropy constraints,more visual expression under the action of entropy,the brittleness in the complex system evolution process and game mechanism of negative entropy."Entropy" can be measured and monitored.Therefore,this paper redefines and puts forward the concept of "social entropy" on this basis,and further explains the measurement of social entropy to the degree of disorder of social system.At the same time,this paper also explores the new path of social stability risk assessment by analyzing the mechanism of social entropy,that is,on the basis of analyzing the sources of entropy increase and negative entropy in the social system,it reconstructs the index system of social stability risk assessment,including population entropy,institutional entropy,cultural entropy and environmental entropy.And then,by the quantitative method of the support vector machine,it demonstrates the social entropy monitoring,the maximum entropy curve and the whole process of using Matlab to predict it,and applied to tianjin "8.12" explosion case.Using social entropy to use social stability risk assessment can provide a new quantitative method,which also makes the social stability risk assessment more scientifically sound,and it’s important for the practical application of social entropy theory and the practical application of social stability risk assessment.
