After the founding of the People's Republic of China,Mao Zedong,as a leader, formed his view of the Soviet Union after the founding of the People's Republic of China in his contacts with the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union and its leaders.Meanwhile,Mao Zedong's Unique Position in the Party and the State, which made his view of the Soviet Union have a great influence on the strategy of the Party and the government towards the Soviet Union and on the development and change of the relations between the two countries.Ten years after the founding of the China,China and the Soviet Union cooperated closely.During this period,Mao Zedong regarded the Soviet Union as "Big Brother" and "Comrade plus Brother".After the 20 th CPSU Congress,China and the Soviet Union have different opinions on how to evaluate Stalin and "peaceful transition".Mao Zedong believed that Khrushchev had embarked on the road of "semi-revisionism".After that,China and the Soviet Union are getting further apart, and Mao Zedong's evaluation of the Soviet Union became more and more negative.Khrushchev's Performance in the Convening of the Twenty-second Congress of the Soviet Communist Party and the Sino-Indian Border Conflict, convinced Mao Zedong believe that Khrushchev has become a revisionist and the Soviet Union has become a revisionist country.Khrushchev stepped down in 1964,but the new Soviet leader continued his revisionist line and Sino-Soviet relations deteriorated further. In 1956,Sino-Soviet relations deteriorated further, after the Treasure Island Conflict,Mao Zedong concluded that the Soviet Union had replaced the United States as China's greatest enemy, and that the Soviet Union had become a social imperialism. From then on,he embarked on the road of uniting the United States against the Soviet Union and opposing Soviet hegemonism. This can provide us with reference value in dealing with Sino-Russian relations today.By studying Mao Zedong's view on the Soviet Union since the founding of the People's Republic of China,we can analyze the changes and reasons of his view on the Soviet Union, and draw lessons from it.
