| Whether a robot can be legal person is one of the challenges which artificial intelligence brings to law.If we want to incorporate robots into the current legal system,we should adjust the law to adapt to the practical need of the development of robot technology.Meanwhile,we should put forward a new concept of personality to accurately locate robots in the legal system.This concept is distributed legal personality.It suggests that we should neither deny the personality of robots nor treat robots as the subject like human being.Instead,we should stipulate different contents of rights,duties and responsibilities for the robots and design special personality in the theory of legal subject.Only by this way can we resolve the problems posed by new technologies and provide the solid legal basis for application of artificial intelligence. |
