Research On The International Protection Of Biological Genetic Resources

In recent years,as a new form of strategic resources,biological genetic resources are also important resources to effectively ensure biological safety and biodiversity,and one of the core resources to ensure the sustainable development of biological resources.With the rapid development of biotechnology,the economic value and strategic value of biological genetic resources are becoming more and more important.But due to the advantages of the developed countries and developing countries unequal,some developed countries use their advanced science and technology and strong economic strength,in the form of "theft",free of charge for the biological genetic resources of developing countries,and using the method of leading technology and develop new medicines,agricultural technology or industrial supplies,register patent protection at the same time,and then sell results at a high price to developing countries through in the form of patents and patent products,to obtain huge profits,the biopiracy peremptory has become a "enclosure" means in developed countries.In this paper,the concept and characteristics of biological genetic resources(bge)are introduced,and the important strategic position of bge in the world is understood.Secondly,through empirical analysis,the concept of biological plagiarism and the damage to developing countries’ due interests caused by biological plagiarism are introduced,and the reasons for the imbalance of interests are found out.Finally,from the perspective of international law,some Suggestions on how to balance the interests of developed and developing countries are put forward.
