| "The Belt and Road" is a grand strategy of win-win cooperation for the benefit of countries along the belt and road and promotes the prosperity and development of the world economy.There are 65 countries along "The Belt and Road",spanning Europe,Asia and Africa,and involving more than 60 percent of the world's population.It is precisely because of transnational and transcontinental nature that the implementation of this strategy will inevitably result in disputes due to various factors such as different national conditions,different economic development levels,huge cultural differences and different legal systems.As "The Belt and Road" strategy continues to be implemented,economic exchanges between countries become more frequent,especially in the field of investment.The active investment field will inevitably lead to the increase of the number of disputes in the investment process,and how to resolve the disputes is the key issue of the countries along the belt and road.If the investment dispute cannot be properly handled in a timely manner,it will lead to the risk of investment,which will frustrate the enthusiasm of investors and hinder the steady progress of "The Belt and Road" strategy.Therefore,a relatively complete investment dispute settlement mechanism is a necessary condition for the smooth progress of "The Belt and Road" strategy.Based on this problem,this paper puts forward a new dispute settlement mechanism after consulting a large amount of relevant literature and comparing and analyzing the existing dispute settlement mechanisms in the world.The innovation point of this paper is to analyze and conclude the defects of other dispute settlement mechanisms.In combination with the special conditions of participating countries along "The Belt and Road",it is suggested to set up a new institution that can operate efficiently--"The Belt and Road" investment dispute settlement center to guarantee the sustainable development of "The Belt and Road" strategy. |
